Description & technique Video projection on hanging glass sculpture
16 pieces of transparent and frosted glass in various colours are hung from the ceiling in different heights and positions. On the frosted glass small minimalistic video recordings are projected. The video motions are quite subtle, only drama is the changing of light and wind. The pipes and the leaves moving imperceptibly.
The hanging glass sculpture is transparent and reflects what´s in the room, whats outside the windows, all surroundings, so the overall appearance of the project depends on the place of exposure.
Text Imagining the pipes sleeping, deeply buried in the soil at The San Francisco Train Station, dreaming of trains departing and arriving again and again.
Now they dream like an embryo, reflecting the subtle motions of a soft breeze, and clouds repetetively hiding and unhiding the sunlight.
