Born in Nr. Nissum v. Lemvig 1962 Practice: coloristic painting, video installation and sculpture. Member of the Artists' Society, BKF, the artists' association Guirlanden, kufa, KKS Anne-Marie Pedersen is educated at the painting department of Aarhus Academy of Fine Arts 1988-1992. Debut in 1993 at Charlottenborg's Spring Exhibition with oil paintings on canvas. About practice: In painting I am most concerned with the coloristic. I would like to emphasize the color tones and their mutual influences. Color has a special spatiality. Special color clashes can form a space that is something different from the perspectival space. It is this space that I am working to create. In my practice, the painting on canvas flows beyond the frame and materializes, for example, in painted felt objects (KH7artspace 2025) and floating brushstrokes (Socle du Monde Biennale 2022). In the project Polychromatic Quintessence I immerse myself in a systematic registration of some tiny and very precise coloristic details in a defined place. The project is very concretely site-specific and becomes a coloristic analysis of the place. Exhibitions and permanent works in Denmark, Japan, England, Germany, Australia, Hungary and Norway.

Medlem af Kunstnersamfundet, BKF, kunstnersammenslutningen Guirlanden, kufa, KKS Anne-Marie Pedersen er uddannet ved malerafdelingen i Aarhus Kunstakademi 1988-1992. Debut i 1993 på Charlottenborgs Forårsudstilling med oliemalerier på lærred. Om praksis: I maleriet er jeg mest optaget af det koloristiske. Jeg vil gerne understrege farvetonerne og deres indbyrdes påvirkninger. Farven har en særlig rumlighed. Særlige farvesammenstød kan danne et rum, som er noget andet end det perspektiviske rum. Det er dette rum jeg arbejder med at få til opstå. I min praksis flyder maleriet på lærred ud over rammerne og materialiserer sig eksempelvis i bemalede filt-objekter (KH7artspace 2025) og svævende penselstrøg (Socle du Monde Biennalen 2022) I projektet Polychromatic Quintessence fordyber jeg mig i en systematisk registrering af nogle bittesmå og meget præcise koloristiske detaljer på et afgrænset sted. Projektet er helt konkret stedsspecifikt og bliver til en koloristisk analyse af stedet. Udstillinger og permanente værker i DK, Japan, England, Tyskland, Australien, Ungarn og Norge.
